Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi has almost two decades of experience in the trade and logistics industry globally, during which he gained extensive experience across multiple vital and diversified sectors.

Al Shamisi plays an integral role in driving the growth of AD Ports Group, the global leader in logistics, industry, and trade. His management and futuristic strategy have enabled the Group’s successful expansion across five continents, and in covering the entire trade ecosystem with its vertically integrated business that spans Digital, Economic Cities & Free Zones, Logistics, Maritime, and Ports.

Al Shamisi, the Managing Director and Group CEO, is also the Chairman of Aramex and Vice Chairman of UAE Sailing & Rowing Federation. He serves on the boards of the Etihad Aviation Group, Abu Dhabi Airports Company, and MAKE A WISH Foundation, UAE.

He holds an MBA, an advanced Diploma of Applied Science (shipmaster), and a Graduate Certificate of Management from the University of Tasmania, Australia.

Al Shamisi’ s guidance has been instrumental in driving AD Ports Group towards realising the UAE leadership's vision of diversifying the non-oil and economy.
